New threats from Russia: MP named cities that Ukraine may lose.
The head of the State Duma's defense committee Andrei Kartapolov threatened Ukraine with the loss of cities if the conflict is not resolved peacefully. He believes that Ukraine may lose Odessa, Sumy, Kharkiv, and other territories. This all happened during a propaganda speech before TASS.
Meanwhile, U.S. President Donald Trump set a two-week deadline for Russian President Putin to make progress in the ceasefire negotiations. According to NBC News, Trump threatened repercussions for Moscow if he was not satisfied with the results.
This is not the first threat from the Russians amid peace negotiations in Istanbul. The permanent representative of the aggressor country to the UN, Vasily Nebenzya, noted that the Kremlin is ready to continue and escalate military actions in Ukraine 'as long as it takes.'
Tensions between Trump and Putin are rising as the U.S. President attempts to influence his Russian counterpart, who is in no hurry to respond to the demands. Their long-standing friendship is reaching a sharp edge.
