Changes in cigarette prices in Ukraine
The State Statistics Service (Derzhstat) has published data on how prices for alcohol and cigarettes have changed in Ukraine.
Over the past year, there has been a significant increase in the prices of tobacco products across all categories of pricing policy.
Changes in prices are also observed in the alcohol sector. For example, vodka has increased by 2.2%, Ukrainian wines by 7.8%, and beer by 11.3%.
In the segment of tobacco products, there has been an even greater price increase. Domestic filter cigarettes have risen by 32.3%, middle-class by 29.6%, and premium ones by 27.3%.
It is worth noting that alongside cigarette prices, the prices of sunflower oil, bread, and lard are also rising in Ukraine.
