The head of the Military Enlistment Center in Kharkiv has been temporarily suspended from duties
In Kharkiv, officials of the Regional Military Enlistment Center and their deputies have been temporarily relieved of their duties. This was reported by 'Glavkom' with reference to the operational command 'East'.
This decision was made following the death of a civilian at the military enlistment office on May 12. After an investigation, it was established that the man committed suicide by jumping out of the window. The case has been transferred to criminal proceedings.
The command of the troops of the operational command 'East' has begun an official investigation to establish the circumstances of the tragedy and has taken on the support of the law enforcement agencies' work. If any officials are found guilty, they will be held accountable.
It is recalled that the man took his life on the territory of the Territorial Enrollment Center, jumping out of the window. Investigators have opened criminal proceedings under part 1 of article 115 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, identifying 'suicide'.
