SSU conducts searches at the Odesa Bureau of Economic Security.

Searches are being conducted at the Odesa Bureau of Economic Security in connection with the investigation of the situation regarding the grain corridor. This was reported by sources from law enforcement agencies to the public administration. It is known that investigative actions are being carried out due to possible cases of tax evasion by grain traders involved in grain fraud. According to the conversation participants, this could cause damages to the state exceeding 10 billion hryvnias.
The public sought comments from the State Bureau of Investigations but has not yet received an official response from the Bureau of Economic Security.
There was also an inquiry to the Territorial Administration of the SSU for comments, and they confirmed the fact of the searches.
“The searches at the BES are conducted by employees of the central apparatus of the SSU, not by the Territorial Administration in the city of Mykolaiv, so it is not within my competence to comment,” - noted representatives of the Territorial Administration of the SSU.
Information appeared in social networks about searches taking place at 12:00 on October 30, reported by the online publication “Duma” from Odesa.
