Response of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine to the statements of the commander of the unit 'Magura'

In response to the statement of the commander of the 47th separate mechanized brigade 'Magura', Oleksandr Shirshin, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has created a working group for thorough analysis of what was said.

'Separately, orders and directives received from various levels of military management will be analyzed in detail to assess the validity of decisions made in the combat environment. Based on the results of the check, decisions will be made,' reads the General Staff's message.

The commander of 'Magura' previously reported his dismissal from the position due to unsatisfactory management decisions and 'political games' in the command. He also expressed a desire to share details with journalists in the future.
