Disneyland Paris will open a Frozen world: what to expect for visitors.
Official opening date of 'Frozen World'
According to The Sun: The highly anticipated premiere of 'Frozen World' from Disney has received an official opening date.
Disney fans can look forward to a new water attraction and impressive water shows set to open in Paris in spring 2026.
Disney DisneyDetails of the new attraction
The 'Frozen World' project has been in development for several years and is part of a larger Disney Adventure World initiative.
Disney has announced that the world of Elsa, Anna, Olaf, Kristoff, and Sven will open in spring next year.
This park will be similar to the existing ones in Hong Kong and Tokyo but will be the first 'Frozen' world outside Asia.
As of today, construction is actively underway, and the new world will transport visitors to the fictional country of Arendelle.
The village will be built around a large lake where guests can enjoy thrilling water shows.
The snowy North Mountain and Elsa's castle will be visible on the horizon.
At the attractions, visitors will have the chance to ride on the new boat attraction called 'Frozen Forever'.
Two show conditions and a restaurant with themed dishes are also planned.
And of course, the iconic characters Elsa, Anna, and Olaf will be available for meet-and-greets around Arendelle.
'Frozen World' is part of a €2 billion ($1.7 billion) investment that is transforming the face of Walt Disney Studio Park.
What to expect when visiting Disneyland Paris?
Here’s what I learned during my first trip to Disneyland Paris...
“I visited Disneyland Paris in spring 2025, and the next time I return, it will be a whole different world. During my visit, I enjoyed the attractions of the limited edition festival – it was also a first for Disney. And if it ever returns, I encourage everyone to go.
“The festival lasted 20 hours with performances all over the park, from big shows to small concerts. So it’s safe to say that Disney never does things halfway – just like the new updates.
“Personally, I can’t wait for new attractions and worlds at Disneyland Paris. Disneyland Park is simply amazing with its massive pink castle and beautiful French cafes, while Walt Disney Park is a bit dull in comparison.
“But with the addition of the new 'Frozen' world, as well as 'Lion Kingdom' and the 'Up' attraction – I have no doubt it will make the park completely new and attract many new visitors, including myself.”
Disney
The premiere of 'Frozen World' will be a landmark event in Disney's development in Europe. With new attractions, live shows, and the opportunity to meet beloved characters, the park may soon become even more appealing to families and fans of popular franchises. This €2 billion investment will not only enhance the visitor experience but could also significantly impact tourist flows to Paris, attracting even more guests.
