Ukrainian consumers are closely watching prices for essential food products that make up a large part of the family budget. According to the Minfin portal, prices for sunflower oil and chicken eggs have shown certain changes in the summer.
According to the price monitoring data in large retail chains, sunflower oil showed stability in June 2025 compared to the previous month. Refined sunflower oil of popular brands has changed little in price.
For example, refined sunflower oil 'Oleina' with a volume of 850 ml costs an average of UAH 79.32. Prices for chicken eggs have also shown a slight increase. A dozen eggs of category C1 in June costs UAH 67.90, which is slightly more expensive than in the previous month.
In the category of large packages of chicken eggs, prices remain stable. For example, the average price for a package of 18 pieces is UAH 123.93.

Thus, prices for essential food products in Ukraine are showing certain trends in the first half of summer 2025.
