On February 9, 2023, a total of 312 combat engagements were recorded, highlighting the high level of frontline activity. Russian forces launched two missile strikes using 11 missiles and conducted 65 airstrikes, deploying 148 guided aerial bombs. The Ukrainian defense also faced a significant threat from approximately 3,960 one-way attack drones, presenting a persistent tactical challenge.

Ukrainian positions endured a total of 2,741 artillery shellings, including 104 strikes from multiple launch rocket systems. Across various sectors of the front, Russian units attempted numerous breakthrough operations. Specifically:
