Drone with Russian Flag over Kyiv: SBU Reveals Purpose of Provocation.
According to ТСН: A drone was spotted over Kyiv with a cloth in the colors of the Russian flag attached to it – it was launched by enemy agents.
Serhiy "Flash" Beskrestnov, an expert in electronic warfare systems and military communications, reported in his Facebook post that:
"The drone was airborne for 4 minutes and 50 seconds, after which it was detected and neutralized by electronic warfare means. The total flight range was less than a kilometer."
The expert noted that this aerial vehicle was launched above the Ukrainian capital solely for the purpose of recording video, which would later be disseminated in the Russian information space.
"The sky over Kyiv (and not only) is closed by many technical systems from various services, but physics cannot be deceived, and such provocations can recur for brief periods during flight. In fact, the enemy needs these minutes for IPSO plots,"Flash noted.
Without going into details, Serhiy Beskrestnov assured that those responsible for this provocation would be held accountable.
He also urged people who witnessed such hostile actions not to publish any videos.
"There is no benefit in publishing, only informational assistance to the enemy,"Flash emphasized.
Kyiv police confirmed that an unidentified drone had been recorded in the capital. After verifying the video circulated online featuring the drone with the Russian flag attached, this information was confirmed.
This incident indicates an increase in the activity of hostile elements in the capital despite the actions of Ukrainian security services. Manifestations of informational warfare are a constant threat, and experts urge to remain vigilant not to give the enemy additional leverage in their information campaigns.
