The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, completed a visit to Northern European countries, where the fourth Ukraine-Nordic countries summit took place with the participation of Iceland, Denmark, Norway, Finland, and Sweden. During the visit, agreements were reached on new support packages for Ukrainian defense and energy.
Ukraine will receive funding from Denmark
"There is an important history of such relations with Denmark - we call it the Danish model, which allows attracting funds from our partners directly into Ukrainian defense production," noted the president. According to him, artillery production has already been established with a rate of nearly 20 "Bohdans" per month.
The issue of air defense is relevant
Special attention was given to air defense issues. Zelensky reminded about the "absolutely clear, specific agreement on air defense systems for Ukraine" at the NATO summit in Washington, which is not yet fully implemented.
Thanks to the countries of Northern Europe
The president thanked the countries of Northern Europe for their support of the Victory Plan, calling it a "strategy of actions that is already on the table."
Zelensky promises assistance to Zakarpattia
After returning to Ukraine, the head of state visited Zakarpattia, where he held a series of meetings with community leaders and business representatives. "We see how production is growing here, what the prospects are, and at the same Time there are questions and problems. We will help with solutions - definitely," Zelensky emphasized.
Meeting with wounded soldiers
The president concluded his working day by visiting wounded soldiers undergoing rehabilitation - fighters from brigades fighting in the Donetsk region, in Vovchansk, and in Kursk oblast.
