Two Women Injured After Russian Forces Hit Sloviansk Twice in One Day.

According to UATV: On July 27, Russian troops carried out two separate attacks on Sloviansk in Donetsk Oblast, wounding two women. The first strike occurred around 9:20 AM in the Cherevkovka district, targeting a passenger bus. Mayor Vadym Liakh reported that the bus was hit, and two female passengers inside suffered injuries. Both were taken to a hospital and are receiving medical care.

At approximately 10:30 AM, a second attack struck a vehicle belonging to the 'eRecovery' commission, which was on its way to inspect a damaged home in the same area. This time, an FPV drone struck the car. Liakh confirmed the incident, noting that fortunately no one was harmed in this attack.

Consequences of the Attacks

These events highlight the persistent threats facing civilians in the region and further complicate infrastructure restoration efforts. Sloviansk—a city in eastern Ukraine that has already suffered significant damage from earlier fighting—remains vulnerable to new assaults, endangering local residents and hindering humanitarian aid and reconstruction work. Attacks on civilian objects like buses and humanitarian mission vehicles reflect an escalating risk to non-combatants and have drawn international concern.
