Zelensky's meeting with the military leadership of Ukraine
The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, spoke during his evening address about the meeting held with the military leadership of the country. During the meeting, issues regarding the training of soldiers, the modernization of training, and cooperation with partners were discussed.
The President also announced the expansion of the '18-24' contract program. This will enable a larger number of brigades to participate in the recruitment of young volunteers. Zelensky emphasized the need to develop effective defense units to strengthen the country's potential. It was also noted that the Ukrainian army continues to expand the list of brigades recruiting contract soldiers aged 18 to 24.
Visit to the location of the drone brigade
During his trip to Donetsk region, President Volodymyr Zelensky visited the location of the 59th separate assault brigade of drone systems named after Yakiv Handziuk. There, he met with the commanders of the units and awarded the soldiers state decorations for their service and the destruction of the occupiers.
