Supporting families through uniform transformation
EASYJET is converting thousands of old employee uniforms into school outfits to assist families burdened by rising costs. The airline has partnered with the Luton-based charity Level Trust, which works in 75 local schools, providing uniforms for children in need.According to The Sun: According to data, 45 percent of children in the city live in poverty. This initiative aims to support them, as well as pilots and other company staff who have chosen to join in the uniform collection.
“This project will not only help reduce educational costs but will also support families in our community,”- said representatives of the charity.
In this way, EASYJET is taking an important step towards promoting the welfare of local families and improving educational opportunities for children. This initiative could serve as an example for other companies looking to contribute to society during economic hardships.
