The crew of the 'White Angel' nearly died in Kurakhove while rescuing a seriously injured woman.

During the evacuation of a seriously injured woman from Kurakhove in the Donetsk region, the crew of the 'White Angel' nearly perished. This was reported by the National Police.

It is noted that upon arrival, law enforcement began providing first aid to the victim. At that moment, the occupiers struck near the vehicle parked outside. The police quickly seated the woman and her relative in the car and, risking their lives, began to break through from the city.

However, the severely damaged vehicle stopped and could not move further. Escaping from the blows of the Russians, the White Angels hid the civilians in an abandoned house. However, the enemy continued the attacks - deadly 'drops' rained down on the house. Glass, ceiling, stones - everything was flying at the civilians and police. Remaining in the house became dangerous, as soon it could bury everyone under its rubble.

The head of the police in Kurakhove, Artem Shchus, planned an escape from the trap: disguising themselves among the ruins and bushes, law enforcement led the civilians to another shelter and called for backup. They managed to get out of the city only at dusk.

Despite the deadly threat, the police managed to transport the injured woman to the hospital.

Impossibility of entering certain populated areas

In Donetsk region, it is currently almost impossible to enter the cities of Myrnohrad, Chasiv Yar, Toretsk, and Kurakhove, although there are still local residents remaining there. This information was reported by the head of the Donetsk Regional State Administration, Vadym Filashkin, who clarified that government forces are shelling all access routes and the enemy can advance.

Evacuation of the population from certain settlements

On November 13, mandatory evacuation of children with their parents, substitutes, or other legal representatives was announced in 16 populated areas of Donetsk region. This decision was made at a meeting of the Coordination Headquarters for the mandatory evacuation of the population. The evacuation will take place to the safe regions of the country.

Evacuation from Pokrovsk is also ongoing, where there are no longer any hospitals. It was taken out of the city, as confirmed by the head of the volunteer organization 'Rose on the Hand', Oleksandr Humaniuk. Currently, there is a small stabilization point for civilians in the city, where a therapist is working, but it is impossible to participate in the evacuation.
