NASA expedition found a secret city under the ice in Greenland.

The NASA expedition accidentally discovered a lost military base from the Cold War era that had been abandoned for over half a century. This was reported by Sky News.

According to NASA Earth Observatory, the discovery was made in April 2024 during the testing of a new UAVSAR radar.

The radar was mounted on a Gulfstream III aircraft that patrolled the globe over northern Greenland, 240 kilometers away from the Pituffik space base.

During the exploration of Greenland's cold standards, a network of tunnels was found, hidden beneath layers of snow and ice at a depth of 30 meters.

This was 'Camp Century,' known as the 'city under the ice.' Its construction began in the late 1950s as a secret project 'Iceworm.' It and other Arctic cities were designed to withstand even a nuclear strike. The project was shut down in 1967, and 'Camp Century' was completely buried under ice.
