According to The Sun: The 'Pedn Olva' pub in Great Britain has reopened its doors, famous for one of the most beautiful views of the coastline. The establishment is located on the beachside of Porthminster in St Ives, which is often called one of the most attractive beaches in the country.

The pub closed in January for a major renovation that cost millions. Now, after the update, it is ready to welcome guests again.

New life for the pub

A new 10-meter bar has appeared in the center of the establishment, along with cozy relaxation areas and a dining room. A feature of the pub is the rooftop terrace, which offers a magnificent view of the beach.

On the premises, there are also rooms with new designs. All 27 rooms have been updated and have a sea view.

The artworks displayed in the pub and hotel are created by local artists and include paintings and sculptures.

Since the pub is owned by St Austell Brewery, guests can expect a wide selection of famous local beers.

Room prices start at £185 per night.

Kevin George, CEO of St Austell Brewery, said: “I am incredibly proud of what we have achieved at Pedn Olva.”

“We all missed it during its closure this year, but now it’s a flagship venue again; a warm, welcoming place for any occasion, whether for a quiet lunch, a festive dinner, or just a drink with a view.”

'The Sun' correspondent Catherine Benyon-Peddie visited the restaurant and provided her comment.

She said: “The Pedn Olva menu is filled with fresh seafood. You can enjoy crabs for £8 and the largest portions of creamy mussels you have ever seen for £16. Complete it all with a gin Tarkins.”

St Ives is not only known for its beach; the town has also been named the best gourmet destination in Great Britain, highlighting its culinary appeal and diversity.
