Yevhen Rybychynskyi First on His Sons: Returning from the USA, IT Plans, and Granddaughter Sofia.
According to ТСН: The poet and composer Yevhen Rybychynskyi spoke about his fatherhood and the lives of his children. He has four sons: from his first marriage - Mykyta, and from the second - Danilo, Heorhii, and Ivan. Recently, he became a grandfather for the third time.
Son Mykyta and the New Addition to the Family
According to Rybychynskyi, his eldest son Mykyta has already become independent and has his own family. In November, he gifted his father a granddaughter - the first girl in the Rybychynskyi family in eight generations. The little girl was named Sofia.
“He continues to collaborate to this day (with Dmytro Komarov - ed. note). He is a television producer, currently a montage director. He edits large projects and so on. He is 36. He has a family and two children,” the composer told Anna Sevastyianova.
Son Danilo and His Plans
The poet also shared the story of his 22-year-old son Danilo, who returned to Ukraine from the USA, where he studied, just before the war. Danilo graduated from school with a medal, and his decision to return was conscious, driven by certain disappointments.
“One of my sons returned to Ukraine before the war, having graduated from school in America with a medal. Do you know what he says? ‘I will never return to America again.’ I already thought, maybe he killed someone there. He says no. He is very disappointed. And this is a person who studied in the States from the second to the 12th grade, he knows a lot,” the artist confessed.
Danilo works in IT and has ambitious plans for the future: “He is an IT specialist and plans to pursue a master's degree at Nokia in Finland to return as a mega-specialist in IT. I tell him to get into cryptocurrency, I don’t know what can be earned now. But he has a scientific approach. He believes that IT is the future, even in the military sphere, and is ready to continue in this direction.”
Sons Heorhii and Ivan
Yevhen also mentioned his younger sons Heorhii and Ivan, who currently live in America, and communication with them is limited. However, he emphasized that he does not escape parental responsibility.
“We have not seen each other for many years. The two little ones live in America. I can’t say that it’s a painful topic for us today; there’s just nothing to talk about. I would gladly communicate, but I don’t even know where, what, and so on. I send alimony - and that’s the only thing I can do. I’m waiting for them to grow up, have a phone, and we can be in touch. That’s how it has been with all of them. All the children come back to me after 16-17 years. They stop being mommy’s and become daddy’s. Heorhii is 14 years old, and Ivan is 11,” Yevhen noted.
These memories of Yevhen Rybychynskyi demonstrate not only the family dynamics but also the deep emotional bonds that exist between a father and his children, regardless of geographical distances. The developments in the lives of his sons testify to their maturity and responsibility, as well as the ideas they form while returning to Ukraine in difficult times.
