According to Novyny.live: A groundbreaking lighting concept has been revealed for Eurovision 2026, featuring cutting-edge energy-efficient technology. Scheduled for May 12, 14, and 16, the event will implement innovative illumination solutions to transform the stage.
Lighting designer Tim Routledge announced that the competition will debut a fully LED and laser-based system for the first time. The visual design incorporates over 2,100 LED and laser fixtures, along with more than 8,500 individually addressable LED bulbs. This setup promises to deliver a vibrant, dynamic lighting experience that enhances the contest's atmosphere.
To ensure uninterrupted performance, a team of programmers will work around the clock in rotating shifts. Additionally, the plan includes 80 high-speed cable winches, enabling swift and efficient lighting management during each act.
