According to Мінфін — Крипто/Фінанси: Between January and June 2026, the Individual Deposit Guarantee Fund disbursed UAH 18 million in guaranteed compensation to depositors of liquidated banks. In June 2026 alone, savers received over UAH 1.3 million through these payments, highlighting the ongoing support for individuals who lost their savings due to bank closures.
Since the Fund's inception, total guaranteed compensation payouts have reached UAH 105.1 billion, with more than 2 million depositors having received reimbursement. According to the Fund, 96.1% of depositors were able to access compensation. Since the start of the full-scale war, payouts have totaled UAH 9.4 billion, reflecting the Fund's active role during crisis conditions.
Financial Position of the Fund
As of June 30, 2026, the Fund's resources stood at UAH 54.4 billion. Notably, a 100% deposit guarantee has been in effect since April 13, 2022, for the duration of martial law, providing an additional layer of protection for savers. The Deposit Guarantee Fund continues to fulfill its obligations, helping to maintain financial stability in the country.
These figures demonstrate the stable operation of the Deposit Guarantee Fund amid financial challenges, particularly during wartime. Continued payouts to depositors of liquidated banks and the preservation of high guarantee levels reflect the state's efforts to support the financial system and protect citizens' rights.
