According to Мінфін — Крипто/Фінанси: Ukraine’s newly appointed Prime Minister, Serhiy Koretskyi, has disclosed his savings, with 60% held in cash and the remainder deposited in banks. As of 2025, Koretskyi’s total monetary assets amount to 108.8 million Ukrainian hryvnias. The vast majority of his savings are denominated in foreign currencies:
- 74% in euros
- 24.8% in US dollars
- 0.98% in hryvnias
- 0.05% in British pounds
Breakdown of his bank deposits:
- 76% held in an unidentified bank
- 12% in Oschadbank
- More than 5% in Tascombank
- Nearly 4% in PrivatBank
- Nearly 4% in Kredobank
- About 0.001% in the Bank of Investments and Savings
Koretskyi’s Professional Background
Who is Koretskyi? Serhiy Koretskyi has been leading the state-owned company Naftogaz of Ukraine since April 2025. Prior to this, he managed PJSC Ukrnafta and JSC Ukrtatnafta. He also spent over 20 years working within the Continuum group of companies. His appointment as Prime Minister has drawn attention to both his financial holdings and his extensive experience in the energy sector.
