Christian Brueckner claims to have data in the McCann case: what is known about his release.
According to The Sun: Christian Brueckner, suspected of the disappearance of Madeleine McCann, claimed to have information that could help solve the 'scandal of the century.'
Recently released from prison, the 49-year-old criminal hints at a dark secret, buying a new phone.

These words may indicate that he has information about Madeleine's disappearance in Portugal in 2007, despite being under investigation for more than five years.
Released last week after serving time for another crime, Brueckner also noted that he 'won't stay here long,' as he has compromising information on people who want him dead.
His phone purchase raised concerns that he might be trying to flee the country.
Store manager Farouk Salah-Brahmin stated: 'Brueckner told me he has some information.'
“I don't know if this is related to the McCann case, but he said he has evidence that could end the scandal of the century,”
Farouk
Farouk added that during their 90-minute conversation, he got the impression that Brueckner was talking about the Madeleine case. “I feel he was part of something bigger. Something he clearly knows about,” he noted.
Brueckner refused to answer questions about the case while in prison and has not communicated with the police.
He spent £90 on a Xiaomi Redmi phone and bought a SIM card using his passport.
Life is in danger
The store manager reported that Brueckner also claimed his life is in danger.
“He said he has special information about some people, and that's why they want to kill him,” added Farouk.
Christian was released last week after serving a sentence for an undisclosed crime.
Brueckner spent an hour in the store, needing help with setting up his phone and WhatsApp account. He entered the store with a kebab - having eaten at McDonald's the day before.
“Injustice”
Farouk noted that Brueckner apparently has not communicated with 'real people' since his release.
“I didn't know he was in my town until he walked in. I thought he needed this,” he admitted.
“My colleague recognized him right away, it was Christian Brueckner with a fake beard. It was absurd. It was obviously him,”

Brueckner claimed that justice was not served.

Although he remains the prime suspect in the case of the disappearance and likely murder of Madeleine, there are no official arrest warrants, so nothing prevents him from leaving the country.
Investigators claim to have physical evidence that Madeleine is dead, but so far have not found criminal-legal confirmation of Brueckner's connection to this case.
The police confirmed that his phone was near the Ocean Club during the McCann family's stay in the area.
Brueckner continues to deny all accusations of involvement in Madeleine's disappearance.

Recently, Brueckner was released after a seven-year sentence for raping and torturing an American woman in 2005 in Portugal, where Madeleine disappeared.
Now, as a new phase in this convoluted case begins, the public will be closely watching the developments.
