Russian Setbacks Near Kupiansk: General Malomuzh Reveals Shift in Enemy Focus.
Russian Forces Stalled on Kupiansk Front
According to UATV: Ukrainian General Mykola Malomuzh has reported that Russian troops are facing significant failures around Kupiansk and have redirected their efforts toward the Yuzhno-Slobozhanskyi axis. According to him, Ukrainian defenders are successfully repelling enemy assaults, eliminating 1,290 Russian invaders in the past 24 hours alone. Malomuzh stated that the adversary is attempting to establish so-called buffer zones in the Sumy and Kharkiv regions, a tactic aimed at securing occupied territory.
Ukrainian Defense Forces Score Key Victories
Ukrainian defense units have destroyed the following enemy assets:
- 10 armored vehicles;
- nearly 100 artillery systems;
- more than 470 units of enemy automotive equipment.
The general emphasized that over a dozen attacks have been repelled in recent days, underscoring the effectiveness of Ukraine’s defensive operations.
“Drones and other reconnaissance tools are highly effective against small assault groups, allowing us to neutralize any offensive maneuvers,” said Mykola Malomuzh.
The Yuzhno-Slobozhanskyi direction has emerged as a priority for Russian forces. Ukrainian troops continue to respond aggressively to enemy advances, leveraging modern surveillance technology to reduce the impact of hostile attacks. While the situation remains tense, Ukrainian forces are demonstrating resilience and determination in their defensive efforts.
These developments highlight the ongoing intensity of combat operations in eastern Ukraine, where Russian forces are striving to consolidate their hold on captured areas. Despite heavy enemy losses, the front line remains stable thanks to Ukraine’s use of advanced equipment and intelligence, which could shape the future trajectory of the conflict in the region. The situation is still critical, but the successful actions of Ukrainian troops lay the groundwork for stronger defenses and potential counteroffensives.
