Ukrainian Military Operations on the Frontline

According to UATV: On July 12, Lieutenant General Ihor Romanenko reported that the Russian army's activity has been constrained in several frontline sectors due to resource depletion. He noted that Ukrainian forces continue to fight for Kostiantynivka and described strikes on Russian targets. According to him,

“Russia’s resources are being replenished at a slower pace than they would like”
— Ihor Romanenko.

Over the past 24 hours, Ukrainian troops have engaged in 260 battles, 67 of which were assaults on the Pokrovsk and Sloviansk axes. General Romanenko emphasized that while the situation remains difficult, Ukrainian forces are holding the center, demonstrating the effectiveness of their efforts.

Attacks on Strategic Targets

The strikes on the Kalmiuske training ground on July 10 and 11 were part of efforts to support ground forces.

“Strikes on such targets are primarily meant to support our ground troops”
— Ihor Romanenko. This highlights the Ukrainian army’s active campaign to destroy key enemy assets.

Russian forces are concentrated around Pokrovsk, Dobropillia, Sloviansk, and Kostiantynivka, where their units have shown increased activity. However, according to the general, resource exhaustion may hinder their future operations in these areas.

The frontline remains tense, but the Russian army’s resource constraints could open new opportunities for Ukrainian forces in upcoming operations. Supporting ground troops with strikes on strategic targets underscores the importance of a comprehensive approach to combat. Both sides continue to focus on key sectors, indicating the conflict’s prolonged and complex nature.
