In Kyiv, a corruption scheme of 230 million UAH was uncovered: who was suspected.
On Wednesday, August 13, corruption schemes of officials that caused the capital losses of over 230 million hryvnias were uncovered in Kyiv. In total, 22 individuals were suspected.
The Prosecutor General of Ukraine, Ruslan Kravchenko, reported this on Telegram.

'Kyiv. Over 230 million UAH in losses. 22 suspects. Embezzlement of community funds, official negligence, poor quality construction work, and profit from school shelters.', - noted the Prosecutor General of Ukraine.
Among the identified violations were criminal actions such as embezzlement of funds for major repairs in various neighborhoods of the city, purchasing low-quality materials for road repairs, and falsifying work acts. Facts of inflated prices for equipment and the procurement of flowers only on paper were also identified.
Additionally, one of the officials was suspected of causing an emergency situation in the metro, which led to significant financial losses.
'Additionally - searches in criminal proceedings regarding the official negligence of officials of the Kyivspetstrans and KMDA, as well as the embezzlement of funds from the Department of Health. We continue our work. Restoring justice in the heart of the country.', - summarized the Prosecutor General.
Recently, the corruption of the former deputy head of the Main Service Center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs was uncovered. In addition, the deputy director of the Department of Transport Infrastructure of the KMDA was informed of suspicion of official negligence.
Corruption schemes of officials that caused the city losses of over 230 million hryvnias were uncovered in Kyiv. Among the identified violations are embezzlement of funds for capital repair, procurement of low-quality materials for road works, and other corrupt actions. The Prosecutor General stated the intention to restore justice in the heart of the country.
