Tajani on Peace in Ukraine: Unity of the West and Sanctions Against Russia are Key Conditions.

According to ТСН: Antonio Tajani, Italy's Foreign Minister, emphasized the importance of European and U.S. unity to achieve stable peace in Ukraine. He also highlighted the need to adhere to sanctions and security guarantees.

In an interview with the Italian television channel Rete 4, Tajani pointed out that Ukraine's security issue is crucial for all of Europe, which will play a key role in the final negotiations if an agreement is reached.

“Europe has imposed sanctions against Russia, and without a European decision to lift them, we will not achieve true peace,” Tajani said.

He also noted that financial assistance to Ukraine is provided through European bonds, and frozen Russian assets are still controlled in Europe.

Unity of the West

Tajani stressed that the unity of the West is a necessary condition for reaching a favorable agreement. According to him, Europe can become a reliable partner in ensuring Ukraine's security and promoting stable peace.
