The Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine named the most threatening directions in Donbas.
Russian troops continue to attack in Donbas - this was confirmed by the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleksandr Syrskyi. They are trying to continue advancing along the entire line of contact, particularly towards Kostiantynivka, although some of their attempts were recorded last week and repelled. The situation is tense, but in Zaporizhzhia, Russian attacks have not yielded results due to open steppes, where enemies can be easily spotted. Currently, there are over 695,000 enemy troops on the territory of Ukraine, but the situation in Sumy Oblast has managed to stabilize.
«Currently, the Russians are halted along the line of Kindrativka – Andriivka – Yablunivka – Yunakivka, further the line of contact reaches the state border and partially crosses into the territory of the Russian Federation, in the Hlushkovskyi district, where our troops hold a foothold of 90 sq. km», – noted Oleksandr Syrskyi.
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy also noted that a large number of Russian troops are still actively operating in the Ukrainian regions. The duration and tension of the conflict in eastern Ukraine is confirmed by information about the continuation of attacks in Donbas. Although some directions have proven unsuccessful for the enemy, the overall situation remains tense due to the large number of Russian troops on Ukrainian territory.
The conflict in Donbas is characterized by representatives of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and Volodymyr Zelenskyy as extremely tense, with a large number of enemy troops on Ukrainian territory, however, some directions remain open, which may indicate a lack of strategic progress on the part of Russian forces.Read also
