Power Outage Schedule for Lviv and the Region
According to Novyny.live: Hourly power outage schedules will remain in effect for Lviv and its surrounding region on March 12, with half of the designated consumer groups avoiding blackouts entirely. Andriy Zhupanin has indicated that these scheduled outages across Ukraine are expected to continue for approximately another month. These controlled outages are a nationwide measure to stabilize the power grid following targeted attacks on energy infrastructure.
The planned power cuts for Lviv and the region on March 12 are as follows:
- Group 1.1: No power from 5:30 PM to 8:00 PM;
- Group 1.2: No power from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM;
- Groups 2.1, 2.2, 3.1, 3.2, 4.1, and 4.2: No outages scheduled;
- Group 5.1: No power from 8:00 PM to 11:00 PM;
- Group 5.2: No power from 9:00 PM to 11:00 PM;
- Group 6.1: Outage from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM;
- Group 6.2: Outage from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM.
Serhiy Kovalenko noted that the frequency of outages is projected to decrease in April, potentially easing the burden on residents in the area.
This schedule is crucial for residents of Lviv and the region, allowing them to plan their daily activities around the expected power cuts. The anticipated reduction in outages starting in April may signal an improving energy situation in the country, offering a positive development for a population that has endured prolonged disruptions to electricity supply.
