Agricultural Support Project Launches

According to Novyny.live: The charitable organization 'Caritas-Spes Ukraine' announced in February 2026 that pre-registration is open for an agricultural aid project targeting vulnerable households impacted by the war. This initiative offers grants ranging from 33,6 thousand to 125 thousand hryvnias. Participants can also receive additional grants of between 8,4 thousand and 16,8 thousand hryvnias upon completing a training program. These grants are part of broader international efforts to help rebuild Ukraine's vital agricultural sector, which has been severely disrupted.

Project Eligibility and Requirements

The project is available to residents of the Barvinkivska community in the Kharkiv region, specifically the villages of Ivanivka, Dmitrivka, Mariivka, and Chervona Balka. Applications are open to citizens with experience in crop cultivation or animal husbandry. For residents of Zelenodolsk, the payment amount is nearly 20 thousand hryvnias. Applications for aid from 'Caritas Kryvyi Rih' will be accepted on February 17, 2026.

Citizens may also apply for grants of up to 42 thousand hryvnias from the ERC. The application criteria include:

  • Demonstrated experience in crop cultivation;
  • Evidence of selling agricultural products;
  • Access to land for farming;
  • Not currently receiving similar assistance;
  • The applicant must not be registered as a private entrepreneur.
"We await your applications to jointly develop Ukraine's agriculture!" – representatives of 'Caritas-Spes Ukraine'.

This project represents a significant step in reviving Ukrainian agriculture, which has suffered extensive losses due to the war. The grants aim to support local communities, restore their economic potential, and ensure food security. Such initiatives underscore the critical role of the agricultural sector as a foundation for stability and prosperity in regions affected by the conflict.
