In Kyiv, there was gunfire in one of the hotels, resulting in the death of a 27-year-old man. A dispute between two groups of people escalated into a clash, during which the shooter opened fire on opponents. The man died on the spot, and several people were injured. The police are conducting an investigation and searching for the shooter.
Explosions occurred in Kyiv that could be heard throughout the city. The sounds of explosions were the result of a hostile drone attack, which were spotted in Kyiv region and other parts of Ukraine. The capital is under air alert, and air defense is operational.
The Governor of Kursk region reported on the attack, during which Russian air defense destroyed two Ukrainian missiles and 27 drones. However, Ukraine suffered losses in the Kursk region, where more than 40% of the controlled territory was lost. Russian troops continue to advance in Kursk, approaching Velyka Novosilka and Rozdolne.
Ukraine has received permission from France to use long-range missiles against Russia. The French Foreign Minister stated that this is allowed for self-defense purposes. Support for Ukraine from Western allies should have no limitations. France's position even opens the possibility of French troops participating in combat.
The future US Secretary of Agriculture will be Brooke Rollins, the founder of America First Policy Institute. She will focus on protecting American farmers and supporting US food independence.
