A strong snowfall has caused problems in Kherson. The roads are covered with ice, transport is moving with difficulties, and trees are breaking. This was reported by the head of the Kherson City Military Administration Roman Mrochko, referring to 'Glavkom'.

Such weather in April is unusual for the south. Local residents report 11 cm of snow cover.

Mrochko noted that utility workers are working to eliminate the aftermath of the bad weather. Nine units of equipment and about 20 people are involved in this effort. 

«We urge residents of the Kherson community not to go outside unless absolutely necessary», he said.

On April 10, an unusual weather anomaly for mid-spring occurred in Kyiv. In the morning, wet snow fell with rain. Although the precipitation was not heavy and quickly melted on the road, a thin layer of snow had already covered the plants that had awakened after winter.
