Opening of the New The Entertainer Store

According to The Sun: The largest toy retail company in the UK is preparing to open its first discount store, where shoppers will find promotions on LEGO, Barbie, Paw Patrol, and other popular brands.

The new The Entertainer store will open next week at Dalton Park in County Durham, offering favorite products at lower prices.

The store will occupy 2000 square feet and will present an exclusive range of toys and games available for purchase starting Saturday, October 4.

Located in Dalton Park Outlet – the largest outlet shopping center in the Northeast – the new store will join a number of well-known brands such as M&S, Next, and Adidas.

Pre-Opening Events

To celebrate the opening, from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm, the store will welcome Marshall from Paw Patrol, who will delight fans with the opportunity to take 'furry' photos.

The Entertainer is also planning a 'trolley dash' contest, where one lucky winner can fill their cart with toys within a minute and take them home for free.

Anyone wishing to participate in the contest can register before 11:59 pm on September 28 by visiting thetoyshop.com/dalton-park-trolley-dash.

The company noted that discounts will vary depending on the product and brand, but typically, outlets offer discounts of up to 70% off regular prices.

Job Creation

The opening of the new The Entertainer store will happen ahead of Christmas, creating permanent and temporary jobs for local residents.

This opening was made possible after The Entertainer's recent partnership with British garden centers to launch branded toy corners in stores nationwide, as well as their implementation in Tesco and Tesco Express across the UK.
