According to The Sun: In a horrifying incident that occurred at a travelers' camp, 44-year-old Dolores Dori died during a shootout. She arrived at the settlement hoping to retrieve her daughter, who lived there with her boyfriend and his family 'against her will'.
Dolores set out from Camponogara, near Venice, Italy, on October 2 with her husband, 16-year-old son and 59-year-old mother. Their journey led them to a camp in Lonato del Garda, where her daughter was staying.
Upon arriving at the camp, Dolores and her mother began shooting, to which a local resident responded, injuring the woman in the leg and abdomen.

The man and teenager of Dolores appeared in this video, threatening the alleged assailant.
“If you're ready to fight, I'll destroy you. If you don’t let her go home, we'll come and take her ourselves.”
The police seized two cars involved in the shootout and released a video filmed by Dolores' son during the conflict.
The teenager and Dolores' mother were detained, while her husband remains at large. They face charges of conspiracy to commit murder, illegal possession of firearms, and threats.
The camp was evacuated, and the area was blocked off by police on October 3.
“The motive for the crime is a personal dispute between the Sinti families over romantic circumstances related to their children,”
stated the Carabinieri.
This incident occurred just weeks after a shooting in which a gunman killed his ex-wife's new partner and her mother outside a hotel before turning the gun on himself.
