Making Money at Disney World Visits

According to The Sun: Visiting Walt Disney World is a dream for many, but such a trip can hit the wallet hard, especially for families. However, there are many Britons who earn money during their visits to theme parks in Florida, including myself.

It turns out there are hundreds of people who make money by sharing content about Disney. Videos from the park often garner millions of views. Many of these creators have no official connection to Walt Disney World, but their content attracts a huge number of viewers who eagerly follow blogs and watch photos from the parks.

My Experience with Disney

As a journalist and blogger, I've visited Florida 55 times. Many posts on my blog passportstamps.uk aim to help Britons plan trips to Walt Disney World. My website now receives over 60 thousand visits a month, and I also create videos for TikTok and Instagram. As a result, I earn a small income from advertising and sponsored posts, even without having millions of followers — about £10 thousand a year solely from Disney content.

I consider myself a 'micro-influencer,' which, according to research, can be more valuable for brands than those with a large number of followers, as their content often appears more authentic.

I love helping people plan their vacations to Florida, as I myself have received countless wonderful memories. My first visit to Walt Disney World was when I was 8 years old, and it was our first overseas holiday. My father still remembers this trip 30 years later.

One of the highlights was watching the sunrise over Cinderella Castle, when I was one of the few who were in Magic Kingdom Park before the gates opened. It was 2018 when I had the opportunity to shoot videos in Florida with Disney Parks. Since then, I have done several major shoots at Walt Disney World and Universal Orlando Resort.

“Our Disney dream now pays our bills”

Hannah and Becky love the Disney ParksCHEETHAMS WITH DREAMS

Like me, two sisters from Manchester, Becky and Hannah Cheetam, also felt the magic of Disney. Hannah, who was born with cerebral palsy, and Becky created a joint Facebook account in 2015 to show that achieving dreams is possible for everyone.

“We wrote all our wishes on a large sheet of cardboard and started to fulfill them by posting about it online,” says Becky.

By becoming popular on Instagram and TikTok, the girls gained over 2.8 million followers. Their dream of going to Disney came true in 2022 when they were invited to the 30th anniversary of Disneyland Paris.

“Since then, we’ve started earning from our account, and during our next visit to Walt Disney World, although we paid for our tickets, most of the expenses were covered thanks to posts about our trip,” notes Becky.

“Watching our lives and sharing them with everyone back home is already a great joy, and getting paid for it during visits to places like Walt Disney World is just incredible.”

“I live in the UK, but I work at Disney World”

Amy Fordyce

But not only influencers can earn income at Disney World. Twenty-year-old Amy Fordyce works as a content and social media manager for AttractionTickets.com in the UK and often visits theme parks as part of her job.

“Our clients rely on our knowledge of the parks. They want to see what their experience will be like, so we showcase it through our social media,” shares Amy.

Amy has visited the park five times since starting her new position in 2022. She describes that the best moment is the opportunity to participate in filming on the attractions.

“It’s amazing when you have the chance to ride attractions like Tron Lightcycle Run and Slinky Dog Dash while at work,” she adds.

Amy also emphasizes how happy she is to have gotten this job, as many people save for years for a trip to Florida.

“When I walked into my hotel room during my trip, I cried tears of joy because I couldn't believe it was happening,” she shares.

All these stories show how earning opportunities in the entertainment industry turn hobbies into a way of life. Many people can now combine their passions with earning money, which certainly makes their experience at Disney World even more unforgettable. The streaming content and social media industry has opened new horizons for those eager to share their experiences and use them professionally.
