Opening of a New Attraction in London

According to The Sun: The United Kingdom is preparing to open a new attraction that is sure to delight math enthusiasts.

MathsWorld, located on the South Bank of London, aims to "show mathematics in the same way that the Science Museum and the Natural History Museum present the physical and biological sciences."

This interactive museum will offer a variety of experiments, challenges, and interesting facts organized into several thematic zones.

Thematic Zones of the Museum

Among the zones are: Code Breaking, Artificial Intelligence, Shape, Problem Solving, and a specially designated area for children under eight years old. The space of 700 square meters will also include attractions for adults, making the visit interesting for the whole family.

Visitors will be able to enter a giant bubble, solve code puzzles, cut different shapes using laser technology, and try their hand at a kaleidoscope.

The museum will demonstrate how mathematics impacts our everyday lives.

Operating Hours and Ticket Prices

MathsWorld will operate from Tuesday to Friday from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM, and on Saturdays and Sundays from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Visitors must arrive no later than 20 minutes after the time indicated on the ticket and will be able to stay in the museum as long as they want, although one or two hours will be sufficient to explore all the exhibits.

Ticket prices are £14.50 for adults and £13 for children over three years old.

The museum's opening is scheduled for this month, just before the autumn holidays in October.

By the way, MathsWorldUK already has another attraction called MathsCity, located in Leeds, offering exciting interactive experiences dedicated to important topics such as nature, climate change, and pandemic battles.

One visitor to MathsCity in Leeds shared their impressions: “My wife and I visited MathsCity today with three grandchildren. We were all thrilled. There are so many opportunities to entertain kids and grandparents.”

“There are many mathematical puzzles, but all presented in a fun way.”
“It seemed like a small place when we arrived, but we spent almost three hours there with a ten-year-old and a seven-year-old, so it’s also good value for money.”

New Prospects for Attractions

Among the new attractions in the north is one that will reopen after a six-year hiatus and a £40 million renovation.

A project is also planned to redevelop a historical attraction where “time began” in the UK, costing £77 million.

Maths World

MathsWorld promises to become not only an interesting place to visit but also an important hub for learning and development for all ages. Participants will be able not only to have fun but also to gain new knowledge about mathematics in everyday life, making it unique in the world of attractions.
