Details of the interactive attraction

Designers from Holovis, in collaboration with Landsec, have announced the opening of large immersive projection domes in the UK.

The two domes will be 19 meters high and have an area of 1,300 square meters, also equipped with an immersive theater and panoramic screens that will allow visitors to feel as if they have entered another world.

The opening will take place at Gunwharf Quays in Portsmouth, and the first event in the domes will be Halloween-themed.

Horror enthusiasts will be able to visit Pumpkinville, described as a “magical world of magic, tricks, and spooky experiences.”

“Fear and fun for the whole family”

Local press reports that there will also be a ‘SpookAdemy’ where children can learn how to be scary.

Additionally, a ‘The Lantern Lounge’ is planned – a Halloween-themed café and bar.

At night, themed bars featuring classic horror films will operate in the dome, while for adults a terrifying experience called ‘The Summoning’ will be organized, including an intimate fear session.

Pumpkinville will be open from October 24 to November 2.
