Party Expenses

According to The Sun: Living in London, I realized that the costs of partying exceed even the price of vacations in Europe. This prompted me to refuse them.

Party problems are not just felt by me – many young professionals from Generation Z face this too.

A party in London can cost around £100. For example, from my house in Zone 2, a trip to Soho and back will cost me £8.90.

I try to drink at home beforehand, but sometimes time passes, and I find myself in a pub where I spend another roughly £25. Entry to a club costs no less than £15. Even in Infernos, which is closer to home, the entry ticket costs at least £12.

And that’s not all – when adding the cost of the cloakroom and drinks, one night can cost £60, and overall for the evening it can reach over £120, not counting the desire to order food after the party.

Transition to Traveling

A few years ago, I decided to refuse "awakenings" with a hangover and spend money on vacations and extreme travel.

Thanks to this change, I managed to reduce my expenses from three big parties a month to one every two months, instead I plan travels.

For example, I visited Auschwitz in Poland – a memorial to the victims of World War II.

The flight from Exeter Airport cost me about £80 round trip. Entry to the Auschwitz Memorial is free, but it needs to be booked in advance. Overall, I spent just over £100 on this trip.

I am also planning other trips, including to Carcassonne in France from October 2 to 4, where tickets cost £42.

I also visited Edinburgh for five days, spending a total of £150.

Savings on Accommodation

Preparing for travels, I discovered cheap accommodation options. For example, in Carcassonne, I plan to stay at the Le Couvent hostel for £30.20 per night.

Moreover, I explore my city more, sharing the costs of parties and visiting the theater. The saved money allows me to enjoy theatrical performances without exceeding the budget.

As a result, I managed to visit many free tourist locations, such as Greyfriars Kirkyard, Arthur's Seat, and the National Museum of Scotland.

As a result, I was able to organize more trips and enjoy both domestic and international travels, saving money that previously went to parties.

Cyann Fielding Changing the psychology and expenses on parties in favor of traveling has many advantages: not only financial but also cultural. Each trip is a new experience, new impressions, and an opportunity to learn more about the world. Although for many parties remain an important part of social life, the number of those choosing alternative ways to relax and entertain is growing.
