The witness in the McCain case revealed the special place of the main suspect.
According to The Sun: The woman who was interrogated by British police last month in the case of missing Madeleine McCann reported that two years ago she pointed out to the law enforcement officers a 'special place' of the main suspect in this case.
Jelke Piro, a German citizen, spoke about Christian Brueckner, a pedophile friend, which led to the search for the body of missing Madeleine in Portugal in 2023.

During searches at the Arada dam, only 30 miles from where three-year-old Madeleine disappeared in 2007, no evidence was found.
Specialized groups with dogs and drones thoroughly searched the area where Brueckner, 48, spent time in his Volkswagen camper.
Jelke, 69, and her husband Bernard, 72, had known Brueckner for many years and often allowed him to stay overnight in the camper near their remote home in the Algarve.
The grandmother told the Sun newspaper:
“Christian loved this area by the dam and called it his special place. He could go into hiding for a week, and when I asked where he had been, he often replied that he was alone at the Arada dam. Learning that he was a suspect in the McCann case, I informed the police that he loved this place, and they became interested.”
“He described the exact area with rocks leading to the water, and I was able to point it out to the police precisely — that is where they conducted the search.”
“Christian lived there in the camper, and I thought he could have taken Madeleine there.”
“I was able to point them to the exact place he described, hoping that it would help find traces of Madeleine, but unfortunately, that did not happen.”
Piro was interrogated by Scotland Yard officers who came to Portugal.
Detectives from the Operation Grange team are now handling the case, having taken it over from German law enforcement agencies.

In 2019, his camper was confiscated by Portuguese police on the property where Piro's memorial is located and became the subject of investigation when Brueckner became the main suspect in 2020.
Police Commissioner Mark Rowley recently announced that Brueckner is the main suspect and hinted at the possibility of his extradition to the UK for trial.
Brueckner remains in hiding at a secret address in Germany after being released at the end of a seven-year sentence for raping an American retiree in 2005.
No charges have been filed against him in the McCann case, and he claims he has no connection to her disappearance.
