New Look for the Castle at Walt Disney World

According to The Sun: Fairy tale castles are the most iconic part of every Disney resort, whether it's Sleeping Beauty Castle or Cinderella's.

It has recently been announced that the castle in the Magic Kingdom at Walt Disney World will receive a new look.

Walt Disney World

The grand Cinderella Castle at Walt Disney World's Magic Kingdom stands 56 meters tall and has delighted visitors for 50 years.

This is one of the first things that catches the eye upon entering Main Street.

Stepping away from traditional pink and purple hues, Disney staff introduced plans to repaint the castle in blue, cream, and gold colors.

While most people know the castle as pink at the beginning of Disney cartoons, the new colors return to the classic look of the original Cinderella Castle.

Park visitors up until 2021 remember the castle in these colors.

However, that year it was painted in shades of pink and blue to celebrate its 50th anniversary, and it has remained that way ever since.

Many guests have praised the pink color. One of them shared in a comment on Reddit:

“I love the new castle, it looks much brighter. I didn't like it when it was first repainted, but now I've grown to love it.”

However, some say they would be pleased to see the castle in its original colors, as one commentator noted that pink makes it “look like Sleeping Beauty's castle.”

But this is not just a new coat of paint, as it must withstand the hot weather and bright Florida sun.

Blue and cream colors will be strategically used around the spires to reflect sunlight.

New Frozen Characters World at Disneyland Paris

Soon, Disneyland Paris announced the opening date of the Frozen World – this will happen in less than a year.

The new area will open its doors to visitors in spring 2026 as part of the Disney Adventure World project.

Guests will enter the world of Elsa, Anna, Olaf, Kristoff, and Sven, and will be able to walk among the characters in Arendelle.

This area will be built around a large lake, where live water shows will take place, and a new water attraction called Frozen Ever After has been planned.

A snowy North Mountain will be visible on the horizon along with Elsa's own ice castle.

There will also be two shows and a restaurant with Frozen-themed snacks.
