Elon Musk has introduced a new online encyclopedia Grokipedia, which aims to compete with the well-known Wikipedia. The platform was launched on October 27. Although the start was somewhat awkward, it sparked noticeable interest among users. In his statements, Musk criticized Wikipedia for its 'liberal bias' and called for a halt to funding until objectivity is restored.
This move is part of the xAI strategy aimed at understanding the Universe. Moreover, Musk's company is currently involved in a lawsuit against OpenAI, the developer of ChatGPT, for breach of trade secrets and unfair competition.
Grokipedia, although in its early stages, offers users an alternative to Wikipedia and may change the dynamics in the field of online encyclopedias.
