The Institute for the Study of War explained how drones will help Ukraine win the war.
Ukrainian drones play an important role in stopping Russian troops and may be key in liberating occupied territories during counter-offensive operations. This was stated by President Volodymyr Zelensky in an interview with the Institute for the Study of War.
Russian troops continue to move along the front, mainly due to delays in staffing and equipping Ukrainian brigades, as well as problems with rotation and providing necessary rest for Ukrainian defenders
Zelensky emphasized the need to form new brigades to replace and reinforce troops at the front. He also noted that the Russian army is suffering significant losses in personnel with minimal territorial gains. According to him, the Russians are losing between 1500 and 2000 servicemen a day.
Members of the Institute for the Study of War stressed that problems in the Ukrainian army indicate the important role of drones in defending against Russian troops.
Zelensky also reported that the Russian offensive in some directions has already slowed down, and the UAVs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine contributed to this.
Let us remind you that the Institute for the Study of War does not observe preparations for a Russian offensive on Zaporizhzhia.
Over the past day, the enemy has carried out missile strikes, many air strikes, and shelling, but it has not managed to inflict significant damage.
