Spanish NPPs Lose Power Supply.

The Ukrainian company 'Energoatom' reported that all nuclear power plants in Spain lost external power supply. However, all power units are operating normally thanks to diesel generators that ensure critical safety systems. The cooling process of the reactors continues stably, and all nuclear safety requirements are being met.
According to 'Energoatom', there is an even greater risk at the Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant due to damaged communication lines with the power grid and insufficient personnel qualifications. The worsening power supply situation in Spain indicates real risks for nuclear safety not only in Ukraine but also in Europe.
A blackout also occurred in several other European countries, including Portugal, France, Andorra, and Belgium. The Energy Minister of Ukraine, Herman Haluschenko, stated that Ukraine is ready to assist in restoring the energy system of European partners, as our specialists have significant experience in this area.
Fortunately, the power supply in Spain has already been partially restored.
Analysis:
The loss of power supply at nuclear power plants in Spain underscores the importance of reliability and safety of energy infrastructure. This incident shows that even in countries with developed energy systems, risks and emergencies can arise. Therefore, it is important for all countries to be prepared for such situations and have action plans to address them.
