The Appeals Court lifted the bracelet from MP Skorokhod, but increased the bail to 4 million.

According to ТСН: The Appeals Chamber of the High Anti-Corruption Court partially ruled in favor of MP Anna Skorokhod's defense, lifting the electronic monitoring device while simultaneously increasing the bail amount to 4 million hryvnias.

Previously, she had been under electronic monitoring since December 14, when a bail of over 3 million hryvnias was posted on her behalf by third parties.

The Skorokhod Case - What We Know

It should be noted that at the end of 2025, law enforcement officials arrived at MP Anna Skorokhod's place for searches. She is suspected of inciting a bribe of 250,000 dollars. According to investigation materials, the individuals attempted to negotiate with an entrepreneur for this amount concerning matters related to the activities of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine.

Anna Skorokhod denies all accusations, claiming that she never requested money and did not participate in corrupt activities.

However, it has been recorded that the MP, along with other individuals, demanded a bribe from the entrepreneur.

In December, a preventive measure was chosen for her, and bail exceeding 3 million hryvnias was set, which has been paid. By court decision, Skorokhod has been imposed with several procedural obligations, including the requirement to surrender her foreign passport for safekeeping and to wear an electronic bracelet.

The case of Anna Skorokhod attracts attention due to the seriousness of the accusations and her status as a member of parliament. Further hearings may have a significant impact on the political situation in the country, as well as on the image of her closest political entourage.
