Viburnum for Winter: 2 Simple Ways to Prepare It That Preserve Vitamins.
Viburnum is a true treasure for immunity as it contains a large amount of vitamin C and other beneficial substances. You can preserve it for the winter in different ways, but both methods retain maximum benefits and rich flavors. Choose a convenient option and stock up on vitamins in advance.

You will need (for the first method):
- viburnum - 2 kg;
- sugar - 1.3 liters;
- 0.5 liter jars - 4 pcs.
You will need (for the second method):
- whole viburnum berries - 2.2 kg;
- sugar - 0.5 liters;
- 3 liter jar - 1 pc.
First Cooking Method
Wash the viburnum well and separate it from the branches. Mash the berries with a pestle or a blender. Strain the mass through a sieve to obtain a homogeneous juice. Add sugar and mix thoroughly until completely dissolved. Pour the mixture into sterilized jars, close with lids, and store in a cool place.
Second Cooking Method
Wash and dry the viburnum. Pour a spoonful of sugar into the bottom of a clean three-liter jar, layer about 1.5 cm of berries, then add two spoons of sugar. Repeat layers until the jar is full. Shake occasionally to evenly distribute the berries and sugar. Store in a cool place.
