The enemy launched many strikes on the positions of Ukrainian troops, using missiles, aerial bombs, and suicide drones. In total, there were 127 combat clashes since the beginning of the day.

News of the war in Ukraine

The defense forces are directing all efforts to disrupt Russian plans for an offensive and deplete their military potential. In particular, the Russian enemy is especially active in the Pokrovsk and Toretsk directions.

In the Kharkiv direction

Ukrainian units repelled four attacks by the Russian enemy in the Vovchansk area.

In the Kupiansk direction

In the areas of Kindrashivka, Petropavlivka, Stepova Novoselivka, and Zahryzove, eight attacks by Russian troops were stopped.

In the Lyman direction

There were 12 attacks by Russian troops reported near the settlements of Kopanky, Novoyehorivka, Novolyubivka, Yampolivka, Terny, and Kolodyazі.

In the Toretsk direction

The enemy stormed the positions of Ukrainian units 11 times in the areas of Toretsk and Shcherbynivka.

In the Pokrovsk direction

In the areas of the settlements of Baranivka, Vodyane Druhe, Myrolyubivka, Promin, Lysivka, Dachenke, Zvirove, Udachne, Uspenivka, Nadiivka, Andriivka, and Dachne, the enemy attempted to conduct 40 assaults, but our defenders stopped them. Airstrikes were also carried out on Sukhiy Yar, Pokrovsk, and Bahatyr.

According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, today 285 invaders were eliminated, of which 130 were irretrievable. One tank, two BMPs, two infantry fighting vehicles, one MLRS, an artillery system, ten vehicles, five motorcycles, and 11 UAVs of the invaders were also destroyed. The enemy also suffered damages: three BMPs, two vehicles, four tanks, four infantry fighting vehicles, two artillery systems, and one MLRS.

In the Novopavlivsk direction

The enemy attempted to breach the defenses 12 times in the settlements of Zelennivka, Vremivka, and Novosilka. At present, one combat clash is ongoing. The enemy also carried out airstrikes on Kostyantynivka, Shevchenko, and Dniproenergo.

In the Kursk direction

Since the beginning of the day, there have been 27 combat clashes, two of which are still ongoing. There were also 37 airstrikes and 378 shellings.

According to a representative of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, it is especially important to note the soldiers of the 30th separate mechanized brigade named after Prince Kostiantyn Ostrozky, the 102nd separate territorial defense brigade, and the 406th separate artillery brigade, who are successfully inflicting significant losses on the enemy and effectively conducting combat operations.
