In the past 24 hours, Russian invaders carried out two missile and 59 air strikes (54 of which were aimed at targeting objects) and 623 kamikaze drone strikes. There were also 3412 shellings of Ukrainian military positions.

Latest news from the front

The defense forces are actively resisting the Russian invaders, focusing their efforts on disrupting their plans for an offensive and depleting the enemy's combat potential. This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Since the beginning of the day, 98 combat clashes have been recorded.

The highest enemy activity is observed in the Pokrovske direction, as well as in the Toretsk and Orikhiv directions.

In the Kharkiv direction

Russian terrorists tried three times to storm the positions of Ukrainian troops in the areas of Tykhe and Vovchansk. The battle near the latter continues.

In the Kupiansk direction

During the day, the enemy attacked Ukrainian fortifications six times, but all battles in the areas of Andriivka, Stelmakhivka, and Pishchane ended.

In the Lyman direction

Throughout the day, Russian troops tried four times to storm the positions of Ukrainian defenders in the settlements of Torske and Makiivka.

In the Siversk direction

Ukrainian troops defeated nine attempts by the enemy to improve their tactical position in the areas of Verkhniokamianske, Spirne, Ivanodarivka, and Vyiimka. The enemy suffered losses. The fight near Vyiimka continues.

In the Kramatorsk direction

Enemy attempts to advance in the areas of Chasiv Yar, Ivanivske, and Andriivka ended in failure.

In the Toretsk direction

The occupiers stormed positions 16 times in the areas of Zalizne, Pivnichne, Toretsk, and New York. Enemy bomber aircraft was actively operating. The fighting continues in four locations, particularly in the areas of New York and Pivnichne.

In the Pokrovske direction

During the day, the invaders carried out 43 assault and offensive actions. The enemy is most active in the areas of Novooleksandrivka, Progress, and Zhelanne. Six combat clashes in this direction are still ongoing.

According to preliminary estimates, today Ukrainian military managed to eliminate 92 and wound 135 occupiers. Two vehicles and a D-30 gun were also destroyed. Four enemy vehicles, a 2S1 "Gvozdika" and a BM-21 "Grad" MLRS were seized.

In the Kurakhiv direction

At this moment, four combat clashes have been recorded. The enemy unsuccessfully tried to advance in the areas of the settlements of Krasnohorivka, Paraskoviivka, and Kostiantynivka.

In the Vremivka direction

The enemy attack near Vodiane ended in failure.

In the Orikhiv direction

During the day, there were two attacks in the areas of Robotyne and Mala Tokmachka, but the invaders did not succeed.

In the Prydniprovske direction

The enemy assault on the left bank of the Dnipro ended in failure.

No significant changes in the situation occurred in other directions.
