Over the past 24 hours, the enemy conducted 37 air strikes and injured 57 vehicles with ammunition, there were more than 700 drone attacks and 3300 shelling of our troops' positions and various populated areas.

News from military operations in Ukraine

In total, there were 208 battles throughout the day. The Armed Forces of Ukraine continue to confidently repel the enemy's attempts to advance deeper into our territory and inflict fire damage on them. This information was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces.

Latest news from the front

The most intense battles are taking place in the Pokrovsk and Kurakhiv directions.

There were five combat engagements with Russian invaders. All attacks in the Vovchansk area were repelled. The locality of Pytomnyk was subjected to an airstrike, during which several buildings were destroyed.

In the Kharkiv direction

Russian invaders attempted to attack the positions of Ukrainian soldiers five times. All attacks were repelled. The locality of Pytomnyk was subjected to an airstrike and suffered damage.

In the Kupiansk direction

The enemy assaulted the positions of Ukrainian soldiers 17 times near the villages of Hryhorivka, Zelenskyi Hay, Zahryzove, Senkove, Koliskivka, Synkivka, and Andriivka.

In the Lyman direction

The enemy attempted to advance 21 times in the area of the villages of Hrekivka, Druzhkivka, Cherneshchyna, Makiyivka, Terniv, and Torske.

In the Toretsk direction

The enemy attacked near the villages of Diliivka, Shcherbynivka, and Toretsk six times, but all attacks were repelled, and the enemy could not succeed.

In the Pokrovsk direction

There were 32 assault and offensive actions. The Russian occupiers are most active in the area of Myrolubivka, Promen, Krasnyi Yar, Lysivka, and Chumatsky.In total, Ukrainian defenders have already repelled 29 attacks, three ongoing attacks in the area of Pustynka and Novyi Trud. The situation is complex, but the Defense Forces are controlling it. Our soldiers are making every effort to prevent the enemy's victory. The losses of the aggressor in this direction amounted to 169 killed and 219 wounded.

In the Kurakhiv direction

There were 39 combat engagements. Occupiers continue their activity in the areas of the localities of Dachne, Novodmytrivka, Kurakhove, Dalne, Katerynivka, Yelizavetivka, Hanivka, and Antonivka. Ukrainian military repelled 26 enemy attacks, and 13 more attacks are ongoing in the areas of Berestkiv, Zori, and Sonsivka. The enemy's losses amount to 90 killed and wounded.

In the Vremivka direction

Ukrainian defenders stopped 12 assaults by the occupiers in the areas of the localities of Trudove, Kostiantynivske, Rozdolne, Novoandriivka, and Rivnopil. Four combat engagements are ongoing in the area of the locality of Veselyi Hai.

In the Dniprovsk direction

The Armed Forces of Ukraine repelled five attacks by Russian invaders. The enemy could not succeed.

The Defense Forces of Ukraine continue operational actions in the Kursk region. Enemy aviation strikes guided aerial bombs on Russian territory. In the last day, there were 11 air strikes using 17 guided aerial bombs and 196 artillery shellings, including four from multiple launch rocket systems.

No significant changes in the situation occurred in other directions.

The General Staff noted the defenders of the 60th Separate Mechanized Inhulet Brigade, the 71st Separate Jaeger Brigade, the 12th Special Purpose Brigade of the National Guard of Ukraine 'Azov', the 141st Separate Infantry Brigade, and the 126th Separate Territorial Defense Brigade, who are holding back significantly larger enemy forces and inflicting serious losses on them under very difficult conditions.
