Over the past day, the enemy carried out two strikes on the territory of Ukraine and used 599 kamikaze drones for this purpose. In total, there were more than 3.2 thousand shellings of our troops' positions and settlements. This is reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

News from the front: Resilient resistance of Ukrainian defenders

During the past day, there were 170 combat clashes. Ukrainian defenders continue to try to repel enemy attacks and inflict damage on their positions. The hottest areas remain the Pokrovsk and Kurakhiv directions.

Kharkiv direction

Near Tikhiy, our forces were able to repel one enemy attack. Additionally, an airstrike was recorded in the area of Kryuhlo.

Kupyansk direction

Throughout the day, the enemy tried to advance towards positions near Nova Kruhlyakivka, Lozova, and Synkivka, but all attacks were repelled. Petropavlivka and Lozova were shelled by Russian occupiers.

Ly mans'k direction

The enemy attacked in the areas of Hrekivka, Tverdokhlibove, Yamplivka, Terniv, Zarichne, Tors'ke, Druzhlyubivka, Bilohorivka, and Serebryansky forest. One attack is still ongoing, while all other attacks were repelled.

Kramatorsk direction

Five combat clashes were recorded near Chasovyi Yar, Stupochka, and Predtechynyi.

Toretsk direction

Fighting continues in the area of Toretsk, but all attacks were stopped near Toretsk and Nelipivka.

Pokrovsk direction

The enemy attempted to attack our defense 37 times. Attacks were directed at Myrolubivka, Promin, Lysivka, Dachen'ske, Zhovte, Pushkina, Novotroitske, Shevchenka, Novopystynka. Thirty-six attacks were repelled, and one is still ongoing. According to preliminary data, Ukrainian warriors destroyed more than 450 occupiers, with 217 casualties on their part. Additionally, one infantry fighting vehicle, four cars, and two enemy motorcycles were destroyed, as well as one REB, a car, and a gun were damaged.

Kurakhiv direction

Near Berestkiv, Staryi Terniv, Zori, Sontsyvkiv, Kurakhove, Dal'niy, Yelyzavetivka, Hanniivka, Romanivka, and Uspenivka, the enemy launched attacks. However, Ukrainian warriors managed to repel all 47 attacks.

Vremivsk direction

Near Kostiantynopil'skyi, Rozliv, Sukhi Yaliv, Makarivka, and Novodaryivka, 35 attacks were registered, all of which were repelled. Additionally, Komar and Vremivka suffered airstrikes.

Orikhiv direction

The direction of Novodanylivka successfully repelled an enemy attack.

Dniprovsk direction

The enemy conducted three attacks but faced a strong resistance and incurred losses.

Severs'k and Huliaypil'sk directions

Over the past day, the enemy made no active operations.

The Defense Forces continue their operation in the Kursk region, where 15 clashes and over 450 shellings of settlements and troop positions were recorded. More than a thousand days of the conflict have passed since its onset.

For high professional work, soldiers of the 37th Separate Marine Brigade, 100th Separate Mechanized Brigade, 14th Operational Brigade named after Ivan Bohun, 128th Separate Mountain Assault Brigade of Zakarpattia, and 124th Separate Territorial Defense Brigade were awarded yesterday. They demonstrated effectiveness in destroying the enemy and inflicted significant losses on them.

The operation continues, and Ukraine continues to fight for its independence.
