Attacks by Russian drones in Kyiv and the Kyiv region continue for the fifth night in a row. Measures have been implemented to protect the city and the region. Air defense forces are shooting down enemy drones.
At 22:22, an air alert was declared in Kyiv and several regions of Ukraine. According to monitoring sources, this alert is related to the threat of strike drones.
The Mayor of Kyiv, Vitali Klitschko, reported that the situation in the capital is tense, and the Air Police are operational. The head of the Kyiv city defense department, Timur Tkachenko, added that a threat exists from enemy unmanned aerial vehicles, and ways to neutralize them need to be found.
The city authorities of Kyiv are urging citizens to stay in shelters until the alert is over.
Fire and casualties in the Boryspil district
Last night, a fire occurred in a warehouse in the Boryspil district, damaging a private house, an educational institution, and an apartment in a building. As a result of the attack, one man died at a railway crossing.
