Kyiv has introduced online payments of 20,000 hryvnias for damaged housing: conditions.
The Kyiv city authorities have expanded the opportunities for receiving monthly assistance for homeowners whose housing has become uninhabitable due to the war. Now, applications can be submitted online through the Kyiv Service Portal, as reported by the Department of Information and Communication Technologies of the KMDA.
According to inkorr.com: It has become significantly easier to receive financial assistance for homeowners whose housing has become uninhabitable in Kyiv. Now the entire process is available online, avoiding the need for visits to service departments. This is especially convenient for those not in the capital. Monthly assistance of 20,000 hryvnias is provided for a year, and documents can be submitted from any device.
Requirements for receiving assistance
The assistance is intended for owners and co-owners of apartments in Kyiv if their housing has been destroyed or deemed uninhabitable due to the war. The main condition is the absence of other housing suitable for living. To apply, electronic copies of the passport, tax payer ID, ownership document, written consent of all co-owners (if any), proof of damage to the property, and the details of the social bank account must be provided.
Conditions and cessation of payments
After submitting the application, the money is allocated immediately, and assistance may be paid for 12 months. The owner must confirm monthly that their housing situation remains unchanged and the property is still uninhabitable. Payments may be terminated if the owner receives a certificate under the 'eRecovery' program or purchases new housing.
Thanks to the simplified procedure, receiving financial assistance has become more accessible for all those affected by the war. The ability to submit applications online not only simplifies the process but also makes it more transparent and convenient for residents of the capital, including those who are outside of it. This is an important step towards supporting people in difficult times.
