Power Outages Scheduled for Kyiv Region on March 23: Detailed Blackout Timetables Released.
Stabilization Power Outage Schedules in Kyiv Region
According to Novyny.live: On March 23, 2023, the Kyiv region will implement stabilization power outage schedules due to the aftermath of strikes on energy facilities. Electricity supply interruptions will occur in two phases. Phase 1.1 involves blackouts from 19:30 to 22:00, while Phase 6.1 covers the period from 17:00 to 19:30.
Additionally, other phases—specifically 1.2, 2.1, 2.2, 3.1, 3.2, 4.1, 4.2, 5.1, 5.2, and 6.2—will be without power for the entire day. This measure became necessary following an accident on March 22, when parts of two districts in Kyiv and the Brovary district lost electricity due to a Russian attack.
Current Electricity Supply Situation
It was also reported that on March 21, parts of the Darnytskyi and Dniprovskyi districts in Kyiv experienced power and water outages due to a grid failure. The electricity supply situation remains challenging, and these steps are aimed at stabilizing the region's energy system.
These outages are a direct result of ongoing attacks on Ukraine's energy infrastructure, which significantly complicate efforts to maintain a stable power supply. Authorities urge residents to prepare for possible disruptions to electricity and water services and to stay informed about the outage schedules to minimize inconvenience. The energy system remains under severe strain, underscoring the critical need to protect power facilities amid military hostilities.
